What Are Tailwind Tribes
Tailwind tribes are where you and other like-minded bloggers gather online to share each others’ pins.
Tribes are full of talented bloggers in your niche that understand the power of Pinterest, too. They’re dedicated to growing their blogs, and are willing to spread the love because they know that by doing so, their content will be shared as well.
No matter what your niche is, you’re bound to find a Tailwind Tribe to meet your needs.
Free Feature of Tailwind
Tribes are a free feature of Tailwind, my favorite pin scheduling tool.
Tailwind allows you to schedule all of your favorite pins to drip out over the upcoming week or month.
Why Tailwind?
Since Pinterest gives preference to pinners that use their platform regularly, Tailwind helps you maintain your active presence on Pinterest.
I understand that most of you don’t have time to be on Pinterest 24/7. Tailwind understands that, too. By scheduling your pins through Tailwind, your pins will be posted at the optimum time for your account.
With Tailwind, you can schedule up to 50 pins per day! That puts you at the forefront of the Pinterest algorithm, getting your pins more exposure in users feeds.
You can join Tailwind for free, and schedule your first 100 pins for free, to get a feel for using Tailwind.
Tribe Rules
Similar to Pinterest group boards, Tribes have a few rules to follow. Just be a team player and you’ll be successful in these tribes.
Pin vertical pins with a keyword-rich description and a link to your post. Also, make sure that your pins are relevant to the topics for the tribe.
If you add one of your pins to the tribe, then repin one of someone else’s from the tribe to your own boards. Easy, peasy.
You can review the topics and rules of the tribe at any time, located just below the tribe name.
Get Started With Tribes
Tailwind Tribes have extended my audience reach by over 1 million Pinterest users, and I’m adding at least 20 new Pinterest followers every day! Those stats are also making an impact on my blog traffic and email sign ups.
You can’t afford not to use tribes.
So how do you get started?
Simple. Use my referral link now to get your free Tailwind account and an invitation to my Blog and Social Media Boss Babes tribe. I created this tribe just for you, and I can’t wait to start sharing your pins.
Plus, when you sign up for your free Tailwind account with my referral link, you’ll get a $15 credit, which can be used to try out Tailwind Plus for 30 days free! You’re not obligated to use the credit, but if you do, you’ll understand pretty quickly why Tailwind is my favorite blogging tool.
If you’re interested in other Tailwind Tribes to join for free, download my Tribe Master List here. I list 60 Tailwind Tribes separated by niche, so you can find relevant tribes to join easily.

Thank you. This was useful, and I’m learning so much. I pinned your article and will be sure to refer back to it later.
Interesting. I never really understood Pinterest. I will give it a try.
This is so informative. I’ve been trying to learn more about Tailwind Tribes. I am definitely going to hold onto this!!!
Thanks for this! I feel like I’ve only hit the top of the iceberg with tailwind and my free trial is almost up!
Love this! I’ve had a Tailwind account for years, but haven’t given tribes a lot of attention. I just joined a few and can’t wait to monitor the results 🙂
Hi,
I absolutely love Tailwind Tribes and since I’ve been using them for about a year, I have noticed a huge increase in traffic.
It took some time to figure out how to use them properly, but they are pretty easy to figure out. You’re right, it’s important to read the rules before you start pinning.
But as long as you follow the rules, you’ll be good. I’ve found them a great way to get my content shared and find amazing content to fill up my Tailwind Queue.
I definitely think Tailwind Tribes are worth joining. This tutorial will help anyone who doesn’t know how to use Tribes and I’ll pass it along.
Have a great day 🙂
Susan
